What is an ebook?
An ebook is the digital version of a hardcopy book. To open and read an ebook you’ll need an electronic device, such as a desktop computer, laptop, tablet, ebook reader, mobile phone with the ability to open pdf files.

Which software do I need to open ModelJunkyard’s ebooks?
In order to open our ebooks in pdf format you need a pdf-Reader. There are lots of free options on the web. Here you have a few alternatives:
Adobe Acrobat Reader (Mac OS and Windows)
Foxit Reader (Windows, Linux, Smartphone)
Nitro Reader (Windows)
Pdf Reader -iPad edition (iPad)
Adobe Reader (Android)

How do I access my ebook(s) after payment?
Right after payment an email will automatically be sent to you including the download link(s) of the product(s) that you purchased.
Click on the link(s) provided in the email to start downloading your files.
I already paid for my ebook(s) but I got no email
Check your spam box. In most cases the emails get stuck there because our emails contain links.
If you can’t find the emails in your spam box, please contact us and we’ll help you as soon as possible.

How do I print blueprints on the right scale?
(US-Letter + DIN-A4 paper sizes)
After purchasing our (harcopy) books or ebooks you’ll get access to a customer are for that specific book where you’ll be able to download blueprints for that project in the most common modeling scales.
All our blueprints are provided in both American (ANSI) and European (DIN) paper sizes.
Download the blueprints in the paper size that fits your printer.
Open the pdf files and print the blueprints as they are. DO NOT adjust margins, bleed, etc.

How do I plot blueprints on the right scale?
(ANSI + DIN architect paper sizes)
If you choose to print the blueprints on bigger paper sizes such as ANSI-E or DIN-A0, commonly used by architects and engineers, you’ll have to find a copy shop where you can ask them to “plot” your files.
All our files are “ready to print” and they will come out in the right scale. Just hand over the pdf files to your preferred copy shop. They’ll know what to do.

What is a plotter?
ANSI-E and DIN-A0 paper sizes are 16 times bigger than US-letter or DIN-A4 paper formats. In order to print on such big paper sizes, you’ll need a special printer called “plotter”.

Where do I find a copy shop?
You’ll find these kind of services in your area, they are mostly used by architects and engineers.
They’ll be able to print your plans on bigger than traditional paper sizes (such as ANSI-E or DIN-A0).
You can also find online printing services. You upload the files and pay, they’ll print them out and send them back to you per mail.

Do you make scale models on commission?
Yes, we build all kind of scale models on commission. From a single car or small item to complete dioramas for museums.

Can I pay with credit card if I don’t have a PayPal account?
Yes. PayPal always offers an option for payment with credit card without having to open a PayPal account, however this option sometimes might be not was clear as PayPal prefers you to open a PayPal account. Here you have a few screenshots where you can find the Credit Card payment option.
1) Click on “Don’t have PayPal account?”
2) Fill in the form with your Credit Card Information

Kann ich mit EC-Karte bezahlen wenn ich keinen PayPal Konto habe?
Ja, Sie können mit EC-Karte bezahlen. PayPal bietet die Möglichkeit an mit EC-Karte zu bezahlen. Diese Option ist aber nicht immer sofort sichtbar. Hier haben Sie eine kurze Anleitung wie Sie die EC-Karte Option finden.
1) Klicken Sie auf “Sie Haben kein PayPal-Konto?”
2) Wählen Sie “Deutschland” aus. Die EC-Karte Option erscheint nachdem Sie Deutschland ausgewählt haben.
